For climbers, skiers, mountaineers, backcountry hunters - any athlete who’s playground is in the mountains.
WHAT DO I GET?
Your training program will be designed for you weekly by your coach and will focus not only on your specific sport or backcountry endeavor, but also on your physiological needs, goals, strengths, areas for improvement, and progression through previous programming. Our unique mobility and fitness assessment will help your coach pinpoint these areas and also determine sites of potential injury before they develop. Your coach will review your assessment and goals with you during your 30 min initial phone consultation.
Training plans are built weekly based on current progress, scheduling needs, and available time to train, and are delivered electronically to you in an easy-to-follow format. You will be able to see your outlined work-out, as well as videos walking you through each prescribed movement. You then can upload your results for your coach to review, as well as a video of you completing the exercise if feedback is desired. Your coach will review these uploads twice a week and provide appropriate feedback electronically. You’ll also be able to chat with your coach by phone once a month to ensure your progress is on track.
We also understand that schedules change, and your fitness plan may need modification. The Mountain Athlete plan allows for you to adjustment your program once weekly after it has been created if something comes up.
