Chauncey Carroll climbed out of the crib and started competing at age 7. She represented the USA Climbing Team in sport climbing in Austria in 2006 and Australia in 2008. She exploded into the bouldering scene taking 2nd place in Open Nationals in 2009 and competing in several years of World Cups. Her love for training took her to Colorado State University to obtain a Bachelor’s in Health and Exercise Science. Always wanting to stay on the cutting edge of research, she holds specialty certifications in Personal Training, Group Fitness, Spinning, Yoga, and holds a Sports Nutrition License.

Training didn’t always come easy to her though. Before going to CSU, she found herself frustrated with weight gain during the off seasons and confused about what training to do outside of climbing. When she began to apply her newfound knowledge to her own training, she lost 33 pounds over the course of two years and has kept it off since.

In 2016, Chauncey completed her first Century road bike ride in Beaver Creek, CO and coached her 55-year- old dad through training to complete his first Century. Eight-weeks later she completed her first Half Marathon, finishing it with 12 of her clients who were also first-timers.

As a Colorado native, you can find Chauncey exploring open space on foot or bike, or cooking up something amazing in the kitchen.
